What this site collects, what it does not, and how the advertising works.

What minterms.com itself collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms that send anything to us, and no analytics script of our own. The web server keeps ordinary access logs (the address a request came from, the page requested, the time) as every web server does; they are used only to keep the site running.
The tools keep your input in your browser
The K-map solver, truth table converter, Quine–McCluskey tool, circuit viewer and Espresso run entirely in your browser; the functions you type are never sent to a server. The Scheinman minimizer and the step viewer send the function you enter to this site’s own server to compute the answer; it is not stored.
Some tools remember your last input in the page address (so you can share a link). That is the only state they keep.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Lesson and tool pages may show ads served by Google AdSense, which helps pay for hosting. Google is a third-party vendor:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some other third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any personalized ad is served, and can change their choice there at any time.
No ads appear on the Scheinman minimizer page, which is cited in a research paper, or on this page, the About page and the index pages.

Lessons and tool pages link to outside references. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
